Sharn Birk
Sharn joined Harris Hagan in March 2019. She has worked both in-house and in private practice for the gambling industry since 2008.
Specialising in all aspects of online and land-based gambling law, Sharn advises on compliance assessments, regulatory investigations, operating and personal licence reviews, and developing associated remedial compliance programmes and action plans.
Sharn was previously General Counsel of Matchbook for three years providing strategic advice to the group in relation to corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory, operational and corporate risk management. Sharn also served as a senior legal adviser at Gala Coral, advising on all areas of the group’s legal, regulatory and compliance affairs and activities, including the management of key software supplier and stakeholder relationships and the merger between Ladbrokes and Gala Coral. She also served as a lead legal counsel at bwin.party.
In her spare time, Sharn enjoys travelling and volunteering for charitable causes.
